I suggest action is needed that will hurt NOTW where it hurts - in the pocket!
If everyone here calls the advertisers on the NOTW website and explains VERY forcefully why you WON'T be using their services, then it might, just might, persuade them to reconsider where they spend their money.
Your starter for 10 is expedia.co.uk, whose advert appears on the page with this article.
|
I'm just curious as to whether these people know that their company is being advertised on NOTW website. There are all sorts of advertising agencies that have all sorts of high-tech tracking and custom content stuff, and we don't know if NOTW is a part of this. It's entirely possible the company paid for an ad with a specific company, and they don't know it's bein advertised on NOTW.
However, it doesn't make this:
|
There is nothing that marketing people hate more than the idea that their advertising budget is being spent reaching people who aren't interested, let alone people who react negatively to seeing that advertising message.
And their is nothing that managing diectors hate more than being told why people WON'T be using their company, if that reason is because of exactly where their marketing director is placing advertisements.
|
any less true.
BTW, whose agency is this:?
|
ETA: Calling their advertising agency wouldn't hurt either:

Most of us have no desire to be 'out' to anyone. What I do in my bedroom is my business in the same way what my parents do in theirs is their business.
I have absolutely NO desire to 'share' my private life with my parents and very much expect they feel the same way about me.
Much less work peeps, friends and people you know randomly.
For those who have nothing to hide and lose, good luck but you have to understand some of us can't be 'out'. I'd lose my job in an instant.
|
Oh, i totally understand that we can't all be out and private should stay private. i'm just so angry by what has happened to Saffy that i guess i'm not choosing my responses very carefully. i apologise if i offended you or anyone else in any way by that comment. The whole world is going to sh1t and i was fed up with the poster who was not supporting her. We all need to stick together. Hugs. |

I think your comments on pro dommes are rediculas in the extreme I'm sure there are a few fake pro dommes that do just use domination to make money but there is, in my experience, lots of pro-dommes that are in the lifestyle and just provide a service that is in demand on the side whats wrong with making money out of a skill you have? Pro dommes as afar as I know do not club people on the head and drag them back to their dungeon these people opt to go to and see them for many different reasons.
No one deserves to be treated like that what ever they do for a day job nun or builder!

I have little or no sympathy for this woman, because if you take the time and trouble to build a website and advertise yourself to the public whilst doing a job such as school teacher , police officer , prison officer , etc surely its only a matter of time before someone from the press is going to have a pop at you, pro dom/mes imo only exploit peoples wants and needs for cash anyway, most of them aren't "into it" for real anyway, so if that brings them some flak.....so what , tough titty, if you cant stand the heat get out of the dungeon .
|
Well, that kind of attitude stinks, and i'd use much stronger words but i'm a lady. We ALL have a right to an uncensored private life whatever our daytime jobs. What difference does it make if she's a teacher, what she does in her private life is her own affair and does not impact AT ALL on her ability to be a good teacher. And your comment about pro dommes is just plain ignorant. i know the lady in question and she is genuine and a lovely person and does not deserve this. This article is not just an attack on its subject, its an attack on our lifestyle and if we don't all stick together, the NOTW types will win and we'll be driven further underground.
|
i dont doubt for a moment the the woman in question is a really nice woman, but my point remains the same, if you poke your head out someone will take a shot at it, and my comment on the pro scene in general not just domme's is based on 20 + years in the scene, its fact that an awful lot of pro's are not into it and never take part in the scene unless cash is involved, but its simply a good way to make cash.
| There it is again i'm being miss quoted, i said pro dom/me's and you my friend are doing exactly the thing you are accusing the press of doing and only seeing what you want to see, let me make my position clear , on a personal level i feel sorry for the woman in question, but i think its a little silly to put up a website with gallery i presumme and do that type of job and not expect someone from the gutter press not to out you at some point, usually when they have empty pages to fill.

Out of interest, did Faith's employment contract allow her to run a business? A lot of employment contracts don't, or you need to have permission from your employer once they've been assured that the business will have no impact on your main job.
Did she declare the income she made from being a pro domme and pay taxes on it?
I agree that her lifestyle choice is private and should have no impact on her job as a teacher, but if she wasn't allowed contractually to run a business (whether as a domme or taxi driver or a tailor or anything) and she went ahead and did it anyway, including openly advertising it on public websites and so forth, then I believe she has to share some of the blame for the mess she's in.
If she had permission to run the business, or she wasn't charging and this was simply a lifestyle, then (had she been sacked) it would have been unfair dismissal, and she could have sued. It shouldn't have been anyone's business or concern that she was doing it as it didn't impair her ability to teach. |

And the photo used was taken at Pinx, the MK club. Seems our freelance journo is a local and, since he will not get expenses just a fee for the story, is not travelling far to do his muck raking. Or possibly that these people are all connected to one rotten apple in the local scene.

Now THAT's scary. The local community really should do some digging. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

What nobody seems to have picked up on, is the fact that the picture in question was taken at a munch. We recognised the venue as you did, and so must others have done.
It just goes to show that NOBODY should ever take pictures, or be allowed to take pictures of anyone, at a munch or club. It doesn't matter if it is somebody you 'know' taking the picture, you don't know where it will end up! To grow old is mandatory.
To grow up is optional

Nobody here is surprised because it happens all the time and being outed by a rag is, unfortunately, no news in itself.
We are outraged, furious, angry, seething, at boiling point... for the hypocrisy and callousness of so the called media.
I hope you and your life recover form this cruel, unnecessary back stab, saffy. A big hug from me. Cultivate your inner whore

I assume camera's are banned from the Pinx,MK club.So it looks like the journalist snook in a camera into the club, then took a sneeky photo.
