This article is not just an attack on its subject, its an attack on our lifestyle and if we don't all stick together, the NOTW types will win and we'll be driven further underground.

I think pro dommes with other jobs (particularly schools, social services) may be seen as nice, easy targets. Also, as someone pointed out on another forum, Milton Keynes does seem to be an area for the NOTW exposes. At least one of the pro dommes involved in the Max Mosley affair was, I believe, based around there

i dont doubt for a moment the the woman in question is a really nice woman, but my point remains the same, if you poke your head out someone will take a shot at it, and my comment on the pro scene in general not just domme's is based on 20 + years in the scene, its fact that an awful lot of pro's are not into it and never take part in the scene unless cash is involved, but its simply a good way to make cash.

10 mths This has royally pissed me off.
Faith, call me, I've been trying to call you all morning.
The article says the picture is a 'customers lesson'.
The person in the picture wasn't a 'customer', the picture was random play at *edit* (a munch) and I'm fucking furious that a picture of two of my friends, yes I know them BOTH, is spread over the News of the fucking Screws.

We all know the NOTW & its 'reporters' have no morals and the sad thing is thats what sells its 'paper'. Hope Faith has goods friends around her to give their support & should anyone of us make next weeks 'news' have the same.
Thats why its so sad when members of our community attack others on these pages. We ALL need each others support at some time so please don't bitch if you disagree with someone else's post.
Just re-read some of the posts, Christ what's up with some of you people. We can't afford to attack our own members and give free rein to the NOTW bullies.
As for pro-dommes I know a few and they're lovely ladies providing a great service for those unable to attend clubs etc with their own partners.

Most of us have no desire to be 'out' to anyone. What I do in my bedroom is my business in the same way what my parents do in theirs is their business.
I have absolutely NO desire to 'share' my private life with my parents and very much expect they feel the same way about me.
Much less work peeps, friends and people you know randomly.
For those who have nothing to hide and lose, good luck but you have to understand some of us can't be 'out'. I'd lose my job in an instant.

It still astounds me that we are not allowed a private life in this country. That is what it is after all, our private life and we are entitled to one. We do no harm to anyone, we keep ourselves to ourselves and yet we are still seen as perverts.
I also hope everyone stands by her although it will be difficult to not only face the students, but also the parents, school staff and board. Another career torn to shreds for the sake of a newspaper sale.

I think your comments on pro dommes are rediculas in the extreme I'm sure there are a few fake pro dommes that do just use domination to make money but there is, in my experience, lots of pro-dommes that are in the lifestyle and just provide a service that is in demand on the side whats wrong with making money out of a skill you have? Pro dommes as afar as I know do not club people on the head and drag them back to their dungeon these people opt to go to and see them for many different reasons.
No one deserves to be treated like that what ever they do for a day job nun or builder!
