I have to admit I rather like curling up with a tea at night with my hubby and winding down to watch sexcetera -- hoyt is such a goofball and he makes me laugh my arse off.
It really does cheer me up that programme, they're so laid back and cheerful about sexuality, it gives you that 'feel good' mode.

Last week's featured "spanking", for all of about 10 seconds, very disappointing. There was also a little bit of a demo about leather bondage featuring a Mr.S putting a guy into a sleepsack, had some good quality leather kit.

yeah there wasnt much in it although educating for people who dont know about it all. could have been alot better though

Is that a repeat of a programme where some dozy bint who clearly didn't know jack shit about BDSM banged on about men needing to be dominated by women and craved having all sorts of extreme things done to them as if women were above that sort of thing.
She should meet some of the women I've known over the years - when it comes to a dark desire to be abused and degraded I'd bet money that most femme subs beat most male subs hands down (or should that be bottoms up?)
For a start, women tend to have far darker imaginations than men.

UK(M), 14 mths i don't mean to sound elitist but i get slightly annoyed when they talk about bdsm in the mainstream...assuming its made by nillas for nillas, and then considering how so many nillas are funny about it when you say you're into the bdsm lifestyle..i guess i'm still thinking along the lines of how the news of the world write about bdsm in the sex advise column but then witch hunt people who are into the bdsm lifestyle
nevertheless, if the programme gave a positive impression of the bdsm lifestyle and not just lame arse tips for in the bedroom, it may have been a good thing
i'm not sure where i stand to be honest, but all i can say is that i feel something stir inside of me when thinking about the negative attitude towards bdsm in the general media and then thinking about how they may trivialise it in a programme about "how to have good sex"
i didnt see the programme so im not strongly opinionated..im just idea bouncing..but i just get so raaaaa about how the media bounces bdsm around to either create hate (re which hunts) or entertainment (perhaps in the programme mentioned)
