Hasn't it been a lovely day? Bright and warm and perfect to wander in the woods. The North Down Pony Club had an 'open day' and after an epic case of getting lost we finally arrived at the glorious location around 2ish.

We watched the ponies being put through their paces before we went for a walk in the large wood that surrounds the clubhouse.

Tiptoeing merrily through the bluebells, we found a suitable tree to which I was tied (rather haphazardly) and soundly flogged. He really, really enjoyed himself.

Then we...frolicked. After frolicking, I laid happily and contentedly on the picnic blanket while Altheus strutted around the little glade like a prize cock. Then along came three pony boys and girls with their riders. I hastily pulled down my top and got to my feet with as much dignity as I could muster. Altheus, on the other hand, just stood there, tackle out. I even clutched his trouser to me to cover my shame. There was an exchange of pleasantries before they trotted off round the corner.

If they'd turned up a couple of minutes earlier - we would have certainly put on a show for them as Altheus doesn't stop once he's started.

I had a wonderful time today and I'd like to thank all those who organised the event.

We will definately be attending again - mostly because Altheus needs to improve his tree-to-woman (or should that be woman-to-tree) tying skills.
