We have some new visitors...
Lately a pair of Mallard ducks have taken to spending time in our front garden; apparently the other morning when J went out to work at stoopid o'clock they were right outside our front door.
They appeared again today; this time 2 males and a female. I watched such a cute little episode as one of the males chased the other, quacking furiously until he flew off... "stay away from my Mrs!" Meanwhile Mrs duck just sat on the grass seemingly oblivious to her partner's act of chivalry.
Just spent a gorgeous Sunday afternoon, doing exactly what Sunday afternoons are made for 
AND it's only 5 more sleeps until we go to Egypt! 
Mmmmm I feel all warm and fuzzy.
