There are many things I love about 'the scene', it is nothing more than a gathering of people with an area of common interest but I do so love that common interest and some of the great people I have met, many great times have been had, many areas explored and laughs had, and many many more to come.

There are things I hate also, the gossiping, the in-crowds, the outright lies spread by people who are so sad they have nothing better to do with their lives but make themselves feel superior by making stuff up about other people, the sad little wankers who are missing out on so much of life because they concentrate on other peoples lives instead of their own.

It's an odd little community but I rather like it most of the time, but more than that I love the amazing people I've met. Heres to you, my scene friends.

aww hell if there talking about me at least someone else is having a break and if they feel the need to talk about me then at least l am remembered!!!
always remember that the only opinions that matter are those who you love and care about...
hell if anything nasty is said about me it goes right over my head, not the sort of people l would want in my life...

Yep feel much the same as you do Mark...and I have had my fair share of back stabbing liers telling crap to people but funny when those folk are shown proof that what they have been told is an out and out lie they have another outlook on the person telling the lies in the 1st place.
I love the buzz of BDSM and I wont leave it, those that are good friends make it so worth while.
Ohh and meeting new people, as well as old friends.
All in all...passing over the crap that can be part of it the good outweighs the bad ten fold.
Just happy to be part of it

Couldn't agree more Mark.
Some really fantastic people around and yet some horribly twisted ones that live in la la land with nothing better to do. People that believe their lies learn in the end. No one can keep up such insane fantasies for ever and they end up reviled and alone as they should be - so when they start on you remember that.
But don't worry. You have some lovely people on your network Just be wary of those that mutter ******** is Evil! lol.

I have heard ridiculous rumours and bitching on the 'scene' (god I hate that word), even some about me - some have nothing better to do I guess and while they are talking about one, they are leaving others lol.
Thank god there are good sides to it too Here's to embracing those.
