Master gave me my birthday gift, a beautiful locket with his pictures in it.
and yesterday i took it off when I got in the bath, and realised later that I was not wearing it. I thought that I had left it by the bath and this morning went to get it , but it was not where I thought it was. The house is in some confusion because of having visitors so I couldn't search easily and I had to give up and go to work without it. I was concinced that I had lost it and had to text MoK and tell him. To say that I was upset didn't quite do it justice. I sat on the bus nearly in tears, and I didn't feel better in spite of his texted assurance that it would turn up.

He rang when I got to work and I burst into tears. He told me that the problem was not insoluble , but he was sure it would turn up, and so the day progressed ,as days do.

When I came home tonight i found the locket under the dining table, minus its chain, so we are still hunting for that, but I have my precious locket back.

I am so grateful for the way he handled it. My head was full of thoughts that he would consider that I didn't take care of it and that etc etc etc - sub females will know what I mean, and where my head was.

Anyway the great chain search continues tomorrow and until its found but the locket is here and MoK needn't worry about having cold ears.

Glad to hear it turned up. :)

I think I can understand your anxiety. Ish and I were each given spider pendants by a friend after we announced our intention to get married. Mine is on a fine silver chain and whenever I wear it, I'm afraid the chain will break and I'll lose it. Whilst I recognise that in the grander scheme of things, that wouldn't be the end of the world, it feels as though it would certainly be very upsetting to both of us.

She's NOT a domme; she's a very naughty switch!

Glad you've found the locket now you'll just have to keep checking the cats poop to see when the chain appears ;-)

As for any sub understanding what you mean I think it would be farer to say that anyone given anything by anyone they think so much of would feel exactly how you did when losing something precious to them.

As for keeping it in MoK's favourite place well that isn't his fav woollie hat then cus he's obviously got that on if his ears are warm :-D
