Woohoo, snow! Well there was snow at 7.00am. It's almost all gone now, and we had a good four inches.
Got up early and went into the garden with youngest. Took loads of photos (which will probably be awful- I'm not a good photographer! Thank God for digital- it doesn't cost you anything!) I built a snowman and youngest built a snow creature and we had a snowball fight (only small because neither of us like getting it down our necks!)
I was back inside by 9.00am warming up on coffee and watching the snow slide off the branches with a crunch. I do love the British weather, so variable. Last year it was like summer in April, this year we have snow. 19 years ago we had snow too- I remember looking out of the cottage hospital windows, watching the snow blow through the cherry blossom while I waited for number 2 son to make his way into the world.
I wonder what we'll have this time next year?
