I read MarcusStrapp's instructions though didn't follow them at all as my swatter was different and could only find a mains extension lead connector to use, only needed the idea really.
I noticed MarcusStrapp's instructions not to use it on sensitive areas but couldn't resist trying it on my scrotum, how I jumped lol !

OOoo the excitement is unbearable

Well your references hardly stand up to much scrutiny. A patent application and a article of dubious provenance from the internet. Hardly peer reviewed research. Sadly pubmed yielded no articles about their function, merely about their safety.
Turning to the manufacturer's: Taser make no claims about lactic acid build up.
|
We're talking about stun guns: these are different from tasers. They work on different principles, different voltages and very different frequencies.
Danbuc wrote:
I'll give you these things to think about though. Lactic acid build up in the blood is irrelevant to what's happening in your muscles.
|
Only if you're a mechanoid. Humans usually require oxygen for their muscles to function, and this is delivered by the blood.
Danbuc wrote:
How would and electrical current convert some sugar in solution to lactic acid? |
By presenting the energy to break chemical bonds, allowing new ones to form.
Danbuc wrote:
Additionally, lactic acid build isn't causes the pain in your muscle (see wikipedia article below for a good summary). It's the associated acidosis which arises from a separate reaction.

The wikipedia article talks about *lactate* not being the cause of muscle soreness: lactate is not lactic acid. (Wilmore JH and Costill DL. (2005) Physiology of Sport and Exercise. Champaign, IL: Human Kinetics).

Oh these look like great fun
Now whether to buy a Tazapper or build one myself, mmmmmm...the homemade ones definatly look a lot meaner but need time to charge, while the tazapper is instantanious....might just have to get both..oh well |

So, having just bought a Tazapper on the spur of the moment, is it safe?
I've read that it is a non-penetrating shock, much like a Violet Wand, but could someone confirm or deny that this is safe for over the waist play please? Or even what a non-penetrating shock actually means?
It's been a long time since A-Level physics. The lazy sadist says, "Go fuck yourself."

TAZapper
Has anybody here heard of this (the tazapper)? It's been features on many popular websites on kink.com for years.
http://www.toystoysonline.com/electric.htm
I have a couple of questions:
firstly, how does such a device work? It *looks* like a modified electric fly swatter but I've heard that it feels completely different (no muscle contraction or burning). It sparks more (the fly swatters I've seen don't spark when touched on skin, only when touched on metal). I assume that it uses the same principle as the fly zappers - charge a capacitor to high voltage, and discharge into something. I would guess that the capacitor in the TAZapper is much smaller (i.e. safer), but holds a higher voltage (and hence sparks more) than the fly zappers.
My second question: is it legal here?
|
The Tadzapper is a minature Cattle Prod..I thought they were illegal here?
I was going to buy one but told not too for that reason!
I have a fly swapper I bought from the pound shop, sparks a bit but not as good. Will have to ask the subs if it stings..lol.

Well Blackwidow4u, it's the Executioner fly swatter in the link you've been given that matters, not whatever one you happen to have. Look at the design of the handle in particular.

No it doesn't: the word "like" is there too - a detail which makes a difference.
