J was actually remarkably calm about our sliding downhill, which is more than I was! Apparently he had faith in my ability to control a few tonnes of automotive haberdashery on sheet ice. Ha! (He's getting good at this driving lark though, he was driving my 4x4 at the van storage place this afternoon like he was born to it!)

I'm in my own world. It's Ok, they know me here.

The circle looks very different from how I remember it but then I was there in July. Still beautiful.

PS Still remember some exciting weather - at Dale's Bottom where we were camping. It seemed to have it's own microclimate ... of heavy rain, strong winds and more heavy rain! When we arrived and told the man we were staying for 5 nights he said "You're brave!" Well it was sunny then. How were we to know?!
