we like it and luckily neither of us suffer from any of the headache related side effects; it changes the feel of our play time almost like alice through the looking glass. since the scabby nose incident we acquired a nasal canister which works okay (previously was on cotton wool which if it gets drenched can lead to skin irritation as pointed out by several others) but reading Miss P's post I will be actively campaigning for a revisitiation of using it with our gas mask play
what does it do ? turns me into an even bigger slut if that is possible should you use it then that's why we are responsible adults and make out own choices; it works for some, not for others. for us it is just another toy to add to our play time.

While i personally find it does nothing more for me than make me want to sleep and collapse, it does something to my Master which is very, very good indeed  much rougher, more animalistic shall we say. | ||

I recalled whilst reading this thread one of my gay male friends was the best entertainment ever on poppers. Not for the usual reasons but they made him giggle.. not a little titter........ but totally uncontrollable, convuslive hysterical howling laughter. It sure livened up a dull night in a bar........ if it got dull give him the poppers..... totally silly. When i look into your eyes........ i see the back of your head !! | ||

You should take a good long sniff straight from the bottle. The high or hit only lasts for two or three minutes. It does make you head go fuzzy. The best poppers are named "English", you can get them from Clone Zone, Prowler, Rob, Expectations and Regulation and any GOOD poppers outlet. You should keep poppers in the Fridge and once open bin them after 3months if you do not want the end of your nose to be red. | ||

Used to enjoy poppers a great deal but the curent stuff is vile.
Does anybody know what the position is in (say)France or easy to reach countries. Do the manufacturers have any ability to re-formulate?? Any other ways round this Fascistic Nu Labour claptrap? Factual replies only please (I'm numptied out at the moment) | ||

I have sniffed poppers straight from the bottle (many years ago now) and all they did was make my face go really hot and give me a headache. I have also been at a party where a bottle was left open, it got spilt everywhere, people where having a fab time. I was sat in the kitchen with some mates and walking into the room where the poppers were, the smell was really strong but nobody had noticed. Used to like Amyl nitrite lots, usually with E, but stopped doing so few years ago because of health concerns, the main problem is contraindication with other drugs and medical conditions. Like any drug you should make yourself aware of any health issues, how to recognise and deal with medical emergencies, and have some indication of the quality of the drug, it is usually a good idea with anything to take a smaller than normal dosage first to see how you get on... Open bottle, hold under nose with one hand using other hand to cover nose and top of bottle and breath in. do this to someone else whilst fucking them (esp if they are breathing heavily), watch their head explode..... I used poppers for years and head no ill effects, but they do work by exploding brain cells i think and can give you an almighty headache. I have managed to snort them right up my nose and it burned all my nasal skin and was very nasty. (don't do this at home kids!) It really is trippy and enjoyable stuff, BUT, it increased heart rate a lot and i wouldn't just let it fill the room and also have access to fresh air if needed. I came across poppers whilst exploring my early bi-life, found them to give me a real high for a few minutes with no problems - but boy did I sleep well afterwards. I was in my "can you turn a straight guy gay" phase...and loved the idea of my consciousness being 'tuned down' so allowing my deep seated desires to come to the fore. It was a thrill. Personally I don't think as poppers as being an addictive drug - which I would NEVER contemplate taking - and I suppose I view them in the same light as alcohol. But it's a personal thing.
