Is visiting a pro Domme cheating? (64)

No there isn't - he's just avoiding the issue. Suppose I wanted to cheat - no ifs or buts - I wanted to have an affair with somebody other than my partner. If I don't cheat then I'd be unhappy and if I told my partner then she'd be unhappy - so I cheat and don't tell my partner. I'm still cheating though.

Yes, I agree that it's a childish way of excusing his behaviour. I've asked some subs what would happen if their wife demanded her own "bit on the side", to keep her happy (obviously), and needless to say, they don't like the idea one bit. Not so long ago, someone on another board explained his need to keep his sessions secret from his wife saying "I have to lie to her because she trusts me". Work that one out, folks.

However, I also believe that the route of saintly abstinence is a time bomb waiting to explode. Pro-Dommes seem to be the most convenient solution there is for people in vanilla relationships.

I don't condone the sentiments behind the comments but can understand them

For those of us who spent a lot of time sessioning behind someone's back we mostly need some kind of justification. Mainly to ourselves to excuse our behaviour - and those excuses may be justified or not depending on your view and the relationship you are in - and "outsiders" may have a different take on it all. But maybe if you aren't in "those shoes" it's harder to understand and easier to condemn

But I agree it is cheating whichever way you look at it - as deceit is usually involved
