So yesterday I was lucky enough to have a session booked with a submissive for 3 hours at the London Dungeon, a place I'd never been to.

I got there somewhat late (the appointment was 11-2, and I'm just not a morning person, or even an early afternoon person). The boy I was playing with knew that, and was fine with it- he had agreed to a session with me for 1 1/2 hours, so me being late was ok. The Dungeon Keeper was happy to show me around, and had shown the submissive already.

Once I got there, I regretted being late immensely. I would've happily played over my original session time for free (and ended up doing so, actually) just to get to use all the amazing equipment! Oh my goodness. Others have said kid in candy store and I can only echo that. I felt buzzed and ready to get started. I had brought some kit but there was really no need, everything you could imagine was there! I was delighted to see panic snaps equipped and everything neatly organized in a very sensible fashion, making it easy to find things (though I did enjoy asking my sub what he wanted to be beat with next, and have him try to explain, and know what he meant but trying other things while saying "oh, you mean this?" ::giggle:

There is an advantage to all the stuff beyond the "ooh shiny" factor. If you're unsure if your pet would like a toy, it's probably in this dungeon and you can try it out first. Try before you buy is always a nice policy, and here I could imagine sampling arm binders, swings, and violet wand accessories to see if I like them enough to want to purchase my own. Same with furniture- you can see if you like playing with that cage enough to get one, or if you just wouldn't really use it. It helped me think about what kinky sorts of things I'd like around the flat, ad what was better suited to a dungeon space. When you don't have a lot of money to throw at your kink, this sort of tryout is a really really nice thing.

Another thing I loved was the shoes. I love foot worship scenes but I can't imagine buying myself shoes that are higher than a 1" heel, unless it's a chunky industrial-style boot. Here I could send my submissive off to find shoes he wanted to worship, and could sit with them on while he went to town on them, without ever needing to stand in them or anything silly like that. My inner femme (who is really more of a wannabe) was delighted and relieved.

I was amazed actually at the price. I hadn't gone to dungeons before because I figured renting would be prohibitively expensive for a cheapo like me. Doing a pro session there was ideal. It's easy to get there, and like I said, you don't have to lug anything with you unless you want to! And after sessioning there, I'd happily pay again to go with friends and lovers. It's that good. I'm eagerly awaiting my girly's response to my proposal to go there soon.

Additionally, one of the things I noticed that really endeared me to the place was having cold water and orange juice set out. Being able to quickly and easily make sure that my pet was hydrated and his sugar levels were ok was really a nice little touch.

And the Dungeon Keeper was a sweetheart! I had a great chat with him after. I felt like skipping the whole way home. And really, when your session makes you feel that way, you know it was a success.

It was the first dungeon we ever visited and we still love it. Great kit and the Dungeon Keeper is very friendly and welcoming. We've always greatly enjoyed our sessions there.

I would agree most wholeheartedly as would Man_of_kent my Master. We had a wonderful time there and would heartily recommend it too.
