Last night saw another happy evening at the Cardiff Munch with our new hosts doing sterling work. We had news of recent and forthcoming joyous unions - congratulations to all concerned, news of exciting events was broadcast, trips were being arranged, shopping expeditions planned, invitations extended, news swapped, introductions made and friendships forged. Newcomers were welcomed - we hope to see you again soon - as were returning friends. There was a birthday, with cake - Yum!, another (unsuccessful this time ) attempt on the World's Long Goodbye Record - must try harder - and for some reason a lot of Jelly Babies! - what is it with the Jelly Babies? We filled up the bar, overflowed to the garden and the After-munch Party in the carpark went on till the next day.

It was a shame for it to be over, but it's reassuring to know that we are going to do it all again next month, on Wednesday 9th April, and we are planning for it to be just as much fun as it was last night.

It was a really good night although I was a bit anxious about being a good host, it's certainly not as easy as you two make it look! I thought that my fellow hosts cogsworth and SirDreadly did a great job.
That said I look forward to taking a back seat and relaxing when Midstar, sub_naz and QuietControl have their turn next month

I thought all the Hosts did an excellent job, thank you all.
Sir Dreadly even managed to fit in some vanilla chivalry as well - Wot a knight!
I've been told I don't suffer fools gladly - but I don't particularly dislike them. It's the malicious sociopaths I can't stand.
