I don't start work until 10.00 so I don't leave the house until 9.15. I love the quiet time in the morning, when there is just me in the house and I can potter and take my time over cups of tea and IC.
The only flies in this particular ointment are the cats. They wander around yowling and demanding attention, Honey wants sucky-licky, Figg just wants attention and will bite if he doesn't get it. All I want it a bit of quiet time before I have to set off for work!
Car is still at main dealers, apparently the n/s and o/s seat memory modules are what has been causing the problem. £815!!! Seriously, when she comes home she is having her picture taken. Time to move on from that particular money pit.
Tomorrow is my birthday and my Mom, pix and I are off to Whitby for the day (car should be ready 1st thing so at least we don't have to go there in the very nippy Fiesta I have had to hire). Lunch at The Magpie and a quick scout of estate agents, plus lots of girlie shopping.
My Mom rang me in a panic yesterday, she had had an accident in her car. Some idiot cut her up on a roundabout and caught her o/s front wing. He then started screaming and swearing at her in the street, saying it was her fault and that all women drivers should be banned. I called to see her on the way home and she is very shaken…..more by him than the accident.
Time to go and get ready for work. Deep joy….not!!!!

Happy birthday from me as well, enjoy your day. Also much sympathy for your mum, similar thing happened to my wife on a roundabout except it was a woman was so bad she even called the police to get my wife 'arrested'. When they came they told her in no short terms what she could do with himself! Sue |
