Having resisted and refused for ages, I said I'd go flying with Herself. And I'm not scared at all- yet! Of course it will probably rain...(and no I don't actually want it to.)
I do have an ulterior motive- I want to (a) eat out and (b) spend time with everyone on Mothering Sunday. Plus having spent my life with pilots and aeroplane stories, I thought it was time to try the real thing. Besides you only live once, so it seems silly to not take up an opportunity that isn't offered to everyone. A rare privilege. Anyway I still think pilots are terribly glamorous (must be all those old WWII movies!)

My advice... don't go to any wild parties with the pilot the night before and get forced to drink far too many drinks! I'm just caught up in another of her spells. | ||
