This weekend, we celebrated a year together. In some ways, that year has gone so quickly, in others, we have done so much, learnt so much, experienced so much. Travelled so much!!
We decided to do the same events as we did on the weekend we got together. It started on Friday night, and ended last night.
Impulsion, Sweet Torments and Cmunch. We wanted to share our time around those who were there when we first embarked on our journey, and wanted to celebrate a significant milestone for us. We fully intend to catch up with the rest of our friends, over the coming weeks.
Impulsion, as ever, was excellent, and it is growing month by month, we had a fabulous time there. It is lovely to see such an event go from strength to strength. Lots of growls and mews and moans and whimpers (and that was just the staff!!)
Sweet Torments, what can I say. Promises of what happened last year, happening again this year. Anyone who knows me will know for a sub, I'm quite the control freak. I have only ever trusted one person to suspend me, and that trust was not ill placed, I was suspended for the first time, at Sweet Torments, in February last year. This year, it happened again. I was suspended, upside down. Now, this doesn't exactly give me the warm and fuzzies, I wasn't about to bound over and beg to be suspended, but I overcame the discomfort I feel at this, for a few reasons. I trust Badg totally, and I also trust the skills of the people who were suspending me, and supporting me, that being Cosmic and AndrexPuppy. At one point, I even panicked and thought my feet were going to slip out of the suspension boots. I was reassured they were not, but was given the option of being taken down. I decided not to, I decided to stay up there, and experience all that was on offer (ooooh and what alot it was!!), until the decision to stop, was not mine 
Quite a milestone in itself for me. Blind trust? No ... time and time again, those who can be trusted, stand tall. Thank you; I very much appreciate what you did. Yes, I did have a wonderful time 
Onto Sunday and the Cmunch, we got there a little later than we wanted to, but we got there, and a warm welcome from friends, ending our anniversary weekend. Time for us, at home, time spent with our friend, SF, a perfect end to a perfect weekend.

I was at sweet torments and saw the suspension.the fact that you were scared to death was very evident but that just made your willingness to go that extra mile all the more meaningful.your Master is a really lovely guy,obviously caring,and its obvious to anyone who watches you together how great your relationship is.congratulations on your first anniversary hun,may it be the first of many.marina x | |

I was scared, so many times I could have run away, but didn't. I was fortunate to be around very experienced and trustworthy people. B is very lovely (sssh we'll ruin his rep, grins) and caring, and someone I am honoured to be in a relationship with. I am very fortunate.
