Not that i spend much time looking at porn sites but... i do so find women who have no signs of life dull. Youthful women turn me off, i want a body that looks lived in. My own body is marked from many operations and accidents and its far from perfect, i neither love nor hate it. Its just me. My scars are in some ways ugly and in others signs of survival. Once a guy at a club scowled in distaste when he saw them. I smiled amused at his arrogance. In a world where we get marked from our fetishes how weird that scars were seen to be not appealing or nice. Am i odd? should i be striving for perfection? What IS perfection?

yup I always thought a certain amount of scar tissue quite manly... or if its on a woman it brings the perfection of the rest of her (this certainly applies to you dale) into sharp relief

Anything perfect has no character. Character is the result of the imperfections. I'm all for the character option myself. People who are too perfect don't touch anything within me at all. Is having multiple personalities a disorder or a bonus..? Discuss.

oh I disagree most vehemently, people who are perfect (outwardly) just bring out the sadist in me that little bit further. To make them cry despite their own perfection so that I can then drink their tears
mmmmmmmm (edited to add mmmmmmmm)

Yay, let's hear it for scars. I've got more than my fair share. Although I've had some of the most impressive ones since I was weeks old, so I've just grown up with them and never really been at all self-conscious about them. Ya know what a good thread.. I have a variety of scars on my body two were life saving operations. I have always been uncomfortable showing them. More so to stop people staring. Maybe I shall try and show my torso bit by bit when out at clubs You don't have to say you love me. You don't have to say you care. COS Honey I don't care!!! (Transvision Vamp )

There have been posts about scars before and how people perceive them. Since my last post on the subject I have a new one from a wide excision on my breast. My consultant told me to use bio oil to reduce the scarring, I dont feel the need, Im not ashamed of it indeed quite the opposite, its a sign that Im here and healthy and just another sign that I have lived. I love the chastity now that it flows between us. It is like fresh water and rain. How can men want wearisomely to philander." "I love chastity now, because it is the peace that comes of fucking." i think your attitude is fantastic. Personally i find bodies that tell a story far more interesting and erotic than those that are "manufactured" to fit into the vision of perfection modern media sells us. i love strong people, survivor-types and most of those i know carry scars or marks of one kind or another. There are few things more erotic, to my mind, than someone whose body physically tells their life story. lili x

What a lovely thread - and brilliantly timed for me cos I was examining the new set of scars added to the old ones this morning (after a big abdominal op) and feeling a bit peeved. With this and the belly thread I'm feeling a whole lot better. Thanks everyone. anjuli

What a brilliant thread! Another one of the scarred club here, again from a fairly major op. I began being self conscious about it but then, one day, I was at the gym and forgot all about it. I have found a few people catching sight of it but I tend to try to make them laugh. It's about 9 inches right across my abdomen so I tell people it's a shark bite. Much more exotic. I had my first tattoo done after that. I kind of felt that the canvas was no longer blank so I chose to put what I wanted on it. As others have said, it is a sign of a life lived. I'm in my own world. It's Ok, they know me here. |
