I suggest that both Doms and Dommes are rare (despite the statistics to the contrary - anyone can call themself a Dom/me). Why ? Because it is a natural human condition to be submissive (or at least how we are conditioned to be in today's spociety. Bod. ~O | ||

I completely disagree with this. There are times when it is dominant to be patient and do as you're told. Only to manuevre into a position where you can change things. We are not conditioned by society to be submissive. We are conditioned by society to follow social norms. By virtue of identifying power dynamics in relationships within society we are questioning those norms. Whether we are submissive or dominant, society has nothing to do with how we define ourselves in that regard. It is about what we enjoy more and are more comfortable with. Much like the person who is more comfortable being told what to do by their boss and the person who is more comfortable organising and creating the orders within a workplace. There are places for both within society. Society does not condition us one way or the other. It is more about individual circumstance and ability.
