Last night I tried to engage my 'Vanilla' friend (With
a capital V) into a little BDSM talk. ![]()
Had a great meal then moved to a lovely local pub that has quite a horsey theme. In the alcove we sat, they had a saddle, horse tack and a collection of riding whips adorning the walls. I pointed them out to her and asked if she thought the owners where kinky, and maybe they restrain the more unruly customers and whip them after hours. I was trying to steer the conversation and without being too obvious get her thoughts on the whole BDSM thing – she has no idea about my 'other' side. She glanced at the wall and told me not to be so stupid, then continued wittering about her tale of office politics. A little later I tried again and said something along the lines of wouldn't it be fun to use the implements on the wall. She paused, looked at me strangely, shook her head and continued her tale. I think she thinks I just have a short attention span and wanted to change the subject.
Oh well I tried and failed…. Why does everyone else's
stories end up with intelligent and informative
conversations with those vanilla types? ![]()
