Happy Birthday to me...Happy Birthday dear Me....Happy Birthday to me!
Yes, indeed, it is my birthday...today I am 41 and quite frankly cannot believe it. I feel just as I have done for years, young in mind, heart and outlook.
I shall be at the Reading Munch tonight celebrating the said birthday as well as St Val's day. I shall be there with cake so hope there will be friends present to share it with.

I have heard middle age defined as "15 years older than you currently are". Some people seem to hit forty (or thirty!) and immediately sit back with their fluffy slippers on and Reader's Digest at their side, perusing the hearing-aid and Stannah adverts, and announce to the world "I'm old now; I'm too old for fun stuff any more." Other people don't so much hit forty (or thirty) as club it to the ground and trample on the shattered pieces as they thunder on their way to the next party.
