The perils of working from home include eating too much of the wrong thing. (The fridge is too close!) Ending up with two laptops on my desk. I can edit and print photos, play music and browse IC as I work. No, I can, honestly! Some of the downloads take so long to open when you are working remotely that you can actually multitask like that. I can get the washing done in less time than it takes my colleagues to make a cup of coffee in the office and I can fall on my arse in the kitchen while on the phone and nobody notices!
I can also wear my collar all day without scaring anyone and I can rub the welts on my backside without anyone staring!
The welts came from some fun last night. J was in a really good mood so decided to use my backside as a drum kit. Only problem with that was that my ipod was still in my office downstairs, so no music in the bedroom. That has a knock on consequence of him singing!...............and me laughing. Now subbies please take note. When you laugh, your muscles contract, when your muscles contract it hurts more. When being hit with canes and crops it is best if you can relax those muscles and absorb the impact, believe me it hurts less, burns more, but hurts less. So laughing at your Dominant is not such a good idea after all. We are going to get drummed out of the “Serious BDSMer's club” at this rate. It was bizarre, especially when he started singing The Ballad of Glencoe” which he was actually quite good at but chose to finish with a flourish of the crop.
I have to go away next week. Far enough away that I can't come home and I'm away for a whole eight days including a weekend and valentines day. Not happy about that, I miss my family terribly when I am away and I have been told that I'll be getting a serious welting before I go. Something nice to remember while I'm gone. Somehow I don't think there will be any singing that night. Nope, that will be a front and centre, do as I'm told night. There is a time and a place for both the light hearted fooling about of last night and the more serious limit pushing full on D/s. And thank heaven for that.

That all depends on what is music to your ears. Hope the time away passes in the blink of an eye. The Babylon project was our last best hope for peace. It failed. | |

Isn't that the truth! Today I ended up eating home-made rice pudding while surfing IC, editing a web site, and doing accounts. Home working just isn't good for the weak willed Have a good trip. I've spent valentines day thousands of miles from loved ones and it's no fun, but I bet they make up for it when you return. Human thinking. Valentines is just a day. You can celebrate your love whenever you can, not whenever is dictated by some dubious religion. The Babylon project was our last best hope for peace. It failed. |
