.... till it's time for Morphia's tour of Egypt.

Joanie and Nick have sensibly left me to do all the planning, read all the stuff i've given them and nodded in the appropriate place.

we are travelling into Hurghada ( for joanie to see the fishies and Nick and i to do some diving) then on to Luxor, Esna, Edfu, Aswan, Abu Simbel, and back to Hurghada. All in 14 days. though maybe not in that particulr order.

when joanie told me about this i was soo green with envy , its one of the few places in the world id love to go...mostly due to gramps being there in ww2....we even got the photo of him sitting on the spynix paw.
when my brother went he went to the valley and the tourist areas but he did say the valleys were awesome but to head out off the beaten track too.
its actually the only holiday he hasnt moaned about lol.
hope you post some pictures up and have THE best time

yeah, the tourist bits are great but we saw some other great stuff by wandering off last time.
saw the valley of the workers and the valley of the nobles in luxor, which most people don't bother to visit and they were brilliant.
walked throught the city of the dead in Cairo too.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid sideways through the door, thoroughly used, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming..... 'Wow, what a Trip'

Fabulous! We adore Egypt and have been 5 times in the past 2 years!
If you're interested in any local guides whilst doing the whole tombs and temples thang I can let you have some info.
