i certainly didn't think my life would have turned around as much as it has in the past 2 months. The only thing that's really stayed the same in that time is my goatee, my piercings and my tattoos :p
i still Dj at Cage but only every 2nd saturday (it's great, i absolutely love Djing again, being the boss and trying to run the club from the Dj booth kinda took the fun out of it), so i'm currently applying for a number of well paid jobs, i'm aiming more for a career now rather than just another job. Another good thing is that, Djing every 2nd saturday also means i have every other saturday off, so clubs like Rebound, Violate and even some of the farther away clubs (Nemesis, for example) are now within reach.
Once again i'm living the single life (or at least i will be when i get a place of my own, currently i'm lodging with a couple i know but i can only really stay for about another month) i'm really looking forward to living on my own again. i wouldn't say i'm "looking" for someone but, as they say, it's usually when you're not looking for something it comes along.
Although i still own it my 125 Suzuki Marauder is off road and about to be done up for sale by a friend of mine (i accidently found a buyer the other day too), the good news though, is that the money raised from the sale of the bike pays for the Kawasaki Z400 that's been completely rebuilt from scratch(the only original parts are the frame, casing and wheels) that is sitting at the same friends house till i pass my bike test (aiming to get it passed before the farmyard rally in June) so it's all good.
i've also gone bald too but, don't worry dear reader, it's not from stress (in truth i'm happier than ive been in a good while), i decided to start the new year with new hair, so i shaved it all off just before midnight. My intention was to start again but at the moment i'm shaving it every 3 or 4 days. i was surprised, i expected to look in the mirror and think "what have you done" but instead i thought "oh right, it looks ok actually" lol
So this year is a fresh start for me, everything's looking new and shiny (especially those damn leathr gloves that just about every woman is walking about wearing just now
) and i'm sure my prospective career lies just over the horizon. i just hope this year is a good one.

And when you are looking for a real classic bike, give me a shout. I am selling "The Mistress", a 1973 Z9. Needs a wee bit of work, she hasn't been ridden since 2004. But she was fully restored then and immaculate, she has been garaged since. I want her to go to a certain type of person! |
