Of course you shouldn't give up. There are plenty of people over the age of 60 on the scene. Speaking personally, I would never choose a play partner according to age, that would just be daft. As one of the above posters has said, there are people in their sixties with far more go in them than a lot of thirty-somethings. It does sound like you have been unlucky. Just get out to munches and clubs and enjoy yourself. The rest should follow but it can take time to find the right Dom/me. | ||

There does seem to be a dearth of lifestyle over-60's (and over 50, too) dommes, though. Its a common question from clients, faced with the barrage of net happy youngsters.
Maybe this is why they're not well represented, they're just not cyber-happy. I know this doesn't apply to all: I get e-mails from my father-in-law, and hope he doesn't manage to find some of my more interesting web sites!! Not being a pro-domme myself, but I'm pretty sure some of the men I've played with have been over 60 - although, of course, I was brought up to know that it's not polite to ask a gentleman's age. For me, it's more about personality than arithmetic (when it comes to play partners, that is; mathematics is very important in a lot of other ways, though). A lady is never offensive... by accident. | ||

You are only as old as you feel. Some guys are decrepid at 50, whereas others are still active into their 90s. I suppose I fall somewhere in between - above the median. I only started to take part in BDSM in my late 60s and have loved every minute of it - perhaps because I was very fortunate to find a Mistress with whom I could very happily relate . I think it has given me a new lease of life and yes I do have fun - although perhaps not as much as Mistress does.

I am not ageist, and some of my more seasoned submissives/players are well into their 80's . I do not recognize 60 as old to be honest, and most of my over 70's+ have walking/physical difficulties, and ailments that I am aware of, they still live to tell the tale lol.
