When you start a new thread in your weblog, you now have the option to restrict replies according to people's presence or absence from your real-life and online networks as well as allow all IC members to reply or not as before. Equivalent options let you choose who's replies will start visible or start hidden. This makes the new weblog post page a bit more complicated and rather than further complicate things by modifying the Weblog Settings page, the default is now "no replies" for all threads. In practice, this just means you have to click the right reply settings when making a new post to your weblog.

i just tried it ......... does it mean you have to tick all 6 boxes to allow anyone to reply...or can you just tick other ic members??? Lynda xx Wouldn't it be smart to make the sticky stuff on envelopes taste like chocolate? | ||

Try it. If you tick other ic members it ticks the real and online network ones. If you tick the online network it ticks the real life network for you. If you untick real life it unticks online and others and if you untick online it unticks others. Very neat Mr Admin.
