In the past things were much simpler. You knew where you stood. Now they change the names of things and not for the better.
Marathon becomes Snickers
Opal Fruits - Starburst
Oil of Ulay - Oil Of Olay
Coco Pops - Choco Pops
Dime - Daim
Jif - Cif
Immac changed to something forgettable
This is very unsettling for three dominants of a certain age, at our age we hate change.
Other things that have changed and stayed the same name.
Waggon Wheels, not as big and as nice as they used to be
Vozene doesnt smell of creosote anymore, mind Creosote is now a banned substance
MatchMakers not as nice.
Mars Bars, different taste and smaller as well
And things that have disappeared Junior Disprin
Spangles
Cola Spangles
Those chocolate bars that were a bar but had a seperate flavour in each square
Weekend Selection box
And if you ask me very nicely I will tell you why you never see white dog poo any more

Oh yes, I remember them well! Err... Immac changed to VEET - How unnerving is that that I know! Vozene doesn't smell of creosote anymore, But Wright's Coal Tar soap does. Spangles I saw some in a shop last month Those chocolate bars that where a bar but had a separate flavour in each square are Fry's Cream/fruit Bars and some places do still sell the plain cream one.

I'd forgotten about the Fry's bars - I was thinking of the Dairy Milk bars, which had about 8 different choccies from the box made into a bar of chocolate.
Also, don't remember seeing "Old Jamaica" rum'n'raisin choccy for a while J
