I've had both done and yes they do hurt, I mean after all, you are piercing 2 very sensitive areas. However, it's not unbearable. The clit hood was a weird one, it hurt a lot when the needle went through, but was a sudden sharp pain and it went off as soon as it was done. I had no more pain after that at all. The nipples on the other hand didn't hurt as much whilst being pierced, but were very sore for at least a week afterwards. It all depends on your pain threshold and how your body heals. My piercer recommended a horizontal rather than vertical hood piercing as verticals can cause problems if they rub on the clit too much. If it makes you feel any better these piercings look amazing and I doubt very much you'll regret having them done. Good luck

They do hurt but it's real quick. I'm sure nothing you can't handle. I pierced my tongue, my nipple and my lip myself. That hurt as you can't do it as quick yourself. Obviously I wouldn't advocate doing piercings yourself as you wouldn't want to damage any nerves. Suprisingly my Prince Albert was the least painful of all my piercings.
