To be honest, I'd say this debate is mostly fucked. Because it isn't about intellectualising as to what is the "best" slogan. (Or rather, tha's what the debate is about, but that makes it irrelevant). Its about finding the idea(s) that will have as much instant/dynamic appeal as the PWP slogan. Disagreeing with it is about as sensible as disagreeing with a 38-tonne truck. You can disprove it as much as you like, but it will still squash you. If I was running this debate as a brainstorm, my suggestion right now would be to abandon playing games with words like "Deviant" and "Kinkster". Neither seem capable of having the same impact - whilst the latter sounds like a Batman villain. If you want to beat the PWP slogan, I suspect you will need to go very lateral. We consulted our three-year old....well, in general conversation with him.... and fruit came up as a theme. It isn't as good....but "bent as a banana" feels like it might be a good start point. For thinking. There's a lot of comic possibility in fruit... and something that combines comedy and incisiveness is probably what is needed to come up with a better slogan.
