The BDSM symbol is a very good place to start that conversation and perhaps go onward from there. What we need to get across is that we are NOT dangerous people, we do things to and with each other just like anyone else, we just include things that others do not. And we do it in safe sane consensual way and we probably have more communication about it than most non-bdsm people do. Our power exchanges are negotiated and explicit, not hidden.

exactly but what about those being punished? Go on alliterate that for all the subbies lol

I wont be voting for the pervert label either

unfortunately the media have made the word pervert offensive to the general public, as others have said, what springs to mind, is peados, rapists etc

Kinksters would be more acceptable though i suspect it sounds too fluffy for the majority

also i hate purple so i wont wear that either
