I am single again. I think I need some time alone. I ended things because of emotional incompatibilities and because she wanted hard core play without a safe word. And she had the cheek to tell me I wasn't hurting her hard enough. I would have quite happily dished out more punishment if I felt safe in the knowledge she could withdraw consent.

And a few other reasons I won't go into.

After I end it and tell a friend, that friend expresses relief because they know she was seeing someone else behind my back, and that she had thought of ending it with me, but expressed as one of the reasons she didn't that my parents have a pool. In point of fact my parents don't actually have a pool, they have a chalet in a holiday lot and the lot has a shared pool which, it has to be said it often empty out of season, but it still reeks of gold digging.

"Who can you trust?" is the title of a short story I wrote and which was published recently...

As I said, I think I need some time alone.

I do not know why people cannot be honest.
