Goal!
Firstly, to praise the wonderful Adam & Joe for the title today.
Goals are an interesting kind of thing for a lot of people at this time of year, either in terms of resolutions, things to do, things to not do, things they want, and things they don't want. And really, I'm no different.
So what goals are there for the year ahead?
Well, the big personal one would be try to get the bits of life happening that had been pushed aside to be able to get to Uni. More socialising would be nice, although no idea of the where or when anymore scenewise. It would certainly be nice to move some of the people from my Online network to the Real Life one though, and get to see more of certain friends, but the latter is a pretty common feeling!
Ok, so as previously said they aren't all things that can be solved alone, what with one of them being the 'Wanting Happy Relationship' thing, but I can at least do as much as possible to change things myself.
Beyond that? Uni stuff, obviously. The big aim is to pass the first year, to get on to the more important two that follow. Friends seem to talk like it's an inevitable thing that I will, and admittedly I'd be astonished if I don't, but still there's work ahead to do it, and naturally the best marks I can earn for myself are the goal.
Other than that, I think just continue on doing what I'm doing. Things aren't all that bad right now, which admittedly has been helped by having one of the happier festive periods in recent memory on the whole. To go into that would be a whole other blog though 
On a wider level? I hope 2008 gets better than it's started for all the people I care about. Which is obviously good for those who've had a great start to the year! But it's probably more relevant to those who haven't, for one reason or another. I do sincerely hope that things pick up soon, and I just wish there was more that could be done to help.
I can only apologise to those who came to read expecting to read about some testicle smashing funtime, but who knows that the year ahead will really bring?
