Together... with someone I love that loves me back.

I have never been to a New years eve party.. never really had the opportunity but it never bothered me. I am quite happy to cuddle up on the sofa watching the fireworks with someone special instead.

This year is the first in many that I have been able to do that. The last time I saw the New year in properly was 9 years ago! After that it was never that happy so usually the ex or myself went to bed early. I used to wake at midnight to the sound of fireworks and the feel of my tears rolling down my face.

As alone in bed as I felt in life.

This year will be different.

Together.. with that special someone at last.
