Dear Father Christmas,
I know you get lots and lots of letters from all the other girls and boys begging for presents and telling you just how good they have been.
Well I don't need to tell you how good I have been because you know me and you know that I am the goodest of all the children. <smiles ever so sweetly, fluttering ever so long eyelashes>
Now I know you wanted to give me that lovely dolly with the real long blond curly hair and real go to sleep eyes and soft cuddly body who I would love and dress up ever so nice and let it sleep in my bed and not let anyone draw on it in felt pen or cut its hair or put nail varnish on it. However Father Christmas I had a thought. There are lots of children who don't get lots of nice things like I do and so I thought it might be nice if you gave the dolly that I have earned by being so good to one of the other little girls. I know Father Christmas that they have not been as good as me, but I don't mind. Honest, <big sigh>.
I have already had some lovely presents. I had a magic painting book that I was doing ever so good today until Auntie Bee wanted to lay the the table for tea and made me spill the water all over the book and ruin it. She said sorry but now I only have two magic painting books left because I gave one to Auntie Blonde. Auntie Blonde is nice she likes me. Yes I know everyone likes me.
I also got a great sticker book, but Uncle Hive and Auntie Hunny's grandson came to visit and I let him have it so he would be good. He is only a baby. He is only five and I am six and a half so I had to look after him. He is not a good boy. He is a nightmare according to Uncle Hive and Auntie Hunny says he is spoilt not like me. Please Father Christmas give him some toys on Christmas day, no not my dolly cos he is a boy and he would rip its head off and put slugs inside its head. Maybe a car or a train. Cos he does have a nice smile, well a wicked one but he is only five.
So I dont have a sticker book now.
Now Auntie Rubbermorphia also gave me a "lucky bag". Now at the time I did not say anything as I am sooo polite. Being polite is part of being good. However Father Christmas, I think it was meant for big girls like my big sister Tivoli. Cos it had things that needed batteries and stuff like that. So I gave that to Tivoli.
As you know Father Christmas the babysitter ate my pressie off candy bear. <looks ever so innocent> and the other pressie off candy bear I gave to Aunty Hunny because I did not want her to think candy bear loves me more than her. I know everyone loves me the most but I do love Aunty Hunny because she puts ribbons in my hair not like Aunty Beez who makes me get my hair cut.
So you see Father Christmas I did have lots of nice presents so not having the lovely special Dolly that I would love forever and call her Pippy is not such a hard thing for an extra special girl like me. <gives big sad eyes>
Also Father Christmas I apologize for all the people who are calling you Santa as I know you like to be called Father Christmas.
I think it was very good of you to come to my very special school just to visit me. I think you are very clever knowing that I am home tutored because there is not a school special enough for me.
I know when you came to visit me at my special school that I said I wanted a dolly and sweets and lots of toys but now I want you to give them all to the poor kids. Oh and I like the way you wear the same aftershave as Uncle Alan.
