Not been around for a while now, however when I was posting I was just shy of 3000 posts, now they have dropped to 2969, why? About 30 posts, have gone walkabout somewhere. Does anyone know why your post total would, go down? I've searched for an answer, but cannot find one. It won't be the content, as I've not been posting anything, to get anything removed. Not too bothered, just curious. Flumm-OX-ed??? oX. No labels, just oX.

off topic posts get deleted a month after their last reply.... maybe this will explain your missing posts?

It will also happen should the OP delete your post to the thread or delete the thread entirely. Today's the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

Could the post you replied to have been deleted taking your reply with it?

Im not sure, but i think once a thread has been started the OP cant be deleted and it cant be hidden. The only person that can delete your post is yourself or admin. Unless its a blog and then whoevers blog it is can hide it.x Submission isnt a gift...

Does admin never purge old posts? I guess there is no reason to with todays storage costs but it would help performance. Ad Quod Damnum
