If you hate to say it, why say it in the first place? You only get out of an event what you put in. Pretty obvious that some people put a lot more in than others. Seems to be that there is a direct link between those that put very little in to an event and those that do the most moaning. Many thanks to Danny, Maria, Richard and the Hades crew. I know you all worked bloody hard to put the event together under very testing circumstances. You did very well and I appreciate your efforts. Master Chopper.

I'm sure you felt blessed by the mere brushing of my plumage. But yes, t'would be lovely to actually see you, or hear you, or ........ Saint Severin, the benchmark by which purity, holiness & normality are measured.

I have to say I enjoyed myself, met some very friendly people, and had lots of fun! It was my first Hades (well, first london club to be honest), but compared to previous clubs in other parts of the country, it was very nice! (and i got to be one of the 30 :D:D)

It is that attitude and dedication that makes Hades such a great club and a name that I and many others will continue to look for. Let's hope we can find a venue that deserves you!

Hades has always had our support and we've recommended it to many people, so I'll thank you not to make assumptions regarding our motivations. Feedback is always difficult to put over in a way that makes everyone happy, but this sort of snide slamming of those who actually venture to raise a criticism lowers my previously high estimation of you Chopper. As for there being only an hour to set up, I certainly wasn't aware of it at the time - and it's a little hard to make allowances for something that you aren't aware of. Hades sets a standard but the venue is part and parcel of the overall product as Maria has already commented.

It was my first night at Hades, and indeed at any London Club, so I have nothing to compare it to. My impressions were that there was a lot of equipment (although not all of it got used that much - some pieces seemed to be constantly in use, others hardly at all), a choice of rooms and spaces, some with music some without, which I thought would have satisfied most people. I found some people very friendly and welcoming to a newby (which was great), while others didn't seem that interested when I attempted to strike up conversations - I was little surprised when that happened more than once. Space was bit tight at times with all the people, but that was similar to my experience at Obedience School in Aberdeen back in May, when over 400 people showed up on the night! It was good to meet some people whose profiles and posts I've seen here on IC, and now reading the post-event posts there are others whom I'd have liked to have met, but either didn't recognise or didn't have an opportunity to speak to. Not sure when I'll get to another Hades, because of where I live, but I trust the teething troubles that some people have identified will be sorted easily, and I'd like to appreciate the good intentions and hard work that I sense so many people, including the organisers and house dommes, put into making it the best night possible. Thanks!
