Not in any way D/s related, just simply a proud mum wanting to share some good news.

My son, and the band he plays lead guitar for, finally got a small break by managing to acquire a session in a recording studio. The result being their first ever three track single!!!

One of which is called Play in the Dark and you can hear it here

:-D:-D:-D

Greenday influenced?

ChildeRoland and I both liked the track on YouTube; vocalist could have paid more attention to dynamics, but that's only my opinion.

Good luck to them, and will you be mentioning when a recording might be available for purchase?

Greenday influence? Not really, they're more like.. Oasis, Blur, Velvet Underground, Pink Floyd and the Beatles tossed into a blender for 8 minute, served in a tanker on a cold monday morning. :-D

The vocals are like that intentionally for that song. It's supposed to be a kind of rough around the edges "I dont give a damn" kind of song. In their other song, Symphony of Anxiety, he harmonises his voice and my son does backup vocals in the chorus. Pretty cool stuff.

Album will be available for purchase as soon as they get a record deal and good equipment. They're just starting out but we all have to start somewhere right?

Never wrestle with pigs. You both get filthy, but the pig loves it.
