Ok i may be exaggerating slightly but that's how it feels right now.
So i finally let a hairdresser at my hair. I've only let friends at it the last couple of years or so as i don't trust anyone not to chop it all off "for my own good". In fact it's 3 years since i went to the hairdressers last, to the day funnily enough!
Anyway my hair........it's actually nice, feathered and still past my shoulders. The hairdresser was lovely and made sure i was happy with how much she needed to take off beforehand. I wish it wasn't a need but it was *sighs* I just need to think it will grow back, its not actually short at all, it just feels it to me compared to how long it was, and it is a lovely cut *gives self a kick up the bum*
Yes it's only hair but it's part of my feminine side..... the side that likes being girly and wants someone to look after me, the side that wants to look cute (Shhhhhhhhh don't tell anyone i said that 
) the side that wants doors opening for me and chairs pulled out. Basically the side i don't admit to very often being the person i am.

I've got the Samson complex! Scared of having my haircut! A good friend of mine is a hairdresser and every time she does my hair, it's the same old routine. I negotiate to the millimetre how much I want cut off which really pisses her off. I go on and on about it for ages while she's waiting to give me a tiny trim. My locks always look lovely when shes finished. Your new hairstyle sounds nice, enjoy! Aarwen

And i'm the same, have to only have a couple of centimetres off and mourn even that..........well until yesterday when i realised my hair was starting to look like a mop and needed more than the bare minimum off.
