Which Domme (38)

This post is on the Pro-Mistresses etc web board.

I know my 'value for money' thread rattled a few cages (sorry) but one cannot help thinking that VFM does have its place in the BDSM market place.

So, my next idea is simply going to be titled 'Which Domme.' I propose that dommes are given a score in certain fields like age, looks, BMI, chamber décor, dress sense and quality of equipment. Then no matter what their tribute is, subs can WWW to 'Which Domme' and make an informed decision about where to spend their money.

Don't get me wrong, the current domina guides do have their purpose in that they list the dommes in your local area but, am I the only person on IC who has a thing about VFM?

Who do you want to rate them?

No, you're not. Some so called " Dommes " seem to think they can get away with charging £250 per hour, especially in London. Oh, and some sort of gift from their " wish list " on top. Frightening, really, but I guess that some people must be stupid enough to pay it.

If you don't like the idea of market forces dictating the price of a service or item I'm sure you can move to Cuba or some other crappy communist country where such a thing isn't an issue. There's nothing dishonest about overcharging for a non-essential service if you're making it perfectly clear from the outset what that charge is. Either the market sustains it, or it doesn't, that's for the market to decide, not grumpy communists, cheapskates and hippies.

Did you actually read the other thread? This sock puppet is just looking for attention.

I am pleased that somebody takes my questions seriously and that my relentless pursuit of VFM is now beginning to get others thinking.

If 'Which Domme' was a reality TV show and the winner was proclaimed 'UK domme of the year' it would only have credibility if a knowledgeable panel of judges were put in place to eliminate the pretenders to such a coveted award.

So, bearing in mind I invited the game show concept, but would not necessary be responsible for the execution of the show, who do you think should be appointed as a panel members?

As a panel members? That's not very good english!

But in answer to your question, I believe experienced BDSMers would be the way forward for a panel. Someone who is renowned for finding sock puppets, or fakes if you will, would be a good start. Then you'd need a well known Domme with years of experience, but not a Pro-Domme, as they wouldn't be objective.

Then you'd need a few subs to 'try the goods' so to speak, and give marks out of 10 within certain catagories (such as those that you pointed out in the OP).

In fact, you could also have a public vote, similar to the X Factor, to make the final decision. Then, no matter how biased the panel were, it wouldn't really make much difference.

What do you think?

"Heaven doesn't want me, and Hell thinks I'll take over"
"Before you get angry at someone, walk a mile in their shoes. Then you'll be a mile away and have their shoes."

Well I think that Ant and Dec ought to present it.

Grumpy communist? Cheapskate? Hippy? I can assure you that I am none of those - just a jock who's careful with his money ( lol ). £250 _ Ah could buy a hoose fur that! Anyway, I DID make an indirect reference to " market forces " when I said that as long as people are daft enough to fork out etc etc. Fortunately, having charmed my way into the good books of several lovely pro Dommes, I no longer have to pay for it so there!

You're right, of course. She's an attention seeker. I just felt sorry for her during a rare moment of weakness ( lol ).
