I'm with you. But I also hate the sales people at PCWorld and Games Workshop. PCW they just talk crap and at GW they don't let you browse the store any more without inflicting their information upon you when you don't need it and just want to see what takes your fancy.
Sales people should be there to answer your questions and impartially advise you to help you make the best purchase possible. If they try and steer you then towards what they want then I don't want anything to do with them.

Shut the door in their faces, politely but firmly - worked for me a few weeks ago with some gas salesman or other when he wouldn't leave the doorstep.
