Just a repeat of a forums post ![]()
Aiming to get down to my first ever Hades when the next one happens at the start of December. By 'aiming to' I mean I'm going, I just want to spend as little as I can on the less important parts!
So, to other travelling type people (or people that otherwise can help!), are there any good, cheap hotels that are particularly convenient?
There'll be a friendly smile of appreciation it for you ![]()

There have been some threads in the past about this, hope these links help? http://www.informedconsent.co.uk/boards/london/1... http://www.informedconsent.co.uk/boards/london/1... The new venue and the old venue are really close so the nearest hotels will not have changed

Surely it is merely being a cheap Northern bastard? (to be read in the knowledge that 'cheap' is a quality I esteem, of course)

Well, it is rather. But if that was the title, people would most likely expect a hilarious tale of how I saved 20p in Sainsbury's, or how I stubbornly refused something that was overpriced, and got a cheaper yet better alternative.
Neither of those would actually be hilarious anyway, but people have expectations we can't live up to sometimes, so it's best to avoid them altogether
Also I'll say here a little thanks to the people that have given vague suggestions. Very much appreciated Phoenix When a man loves a woman it should be understood,

Don't knock getting excited about saving 20p. That's the main source of entertainment in my life. Last night I got a sandwich for 30p after the U35 munch. That's what I call exciting!

I wouldn't dream of it, although it's interesting to know that 'male hair' appears to fall into a second place behind this! When a man loves a woman it should be understood,

Men come and go, but supermarkets are open daily from 7-11.

Hmm, well I can't really claim that male hair is a generic ever-present, as there is the (admittedly very very slim) possibility that everyone could go bald tomorrow. Your priorities are likely correct. When a man loves a woman it should be understood, |
