I have always had this thing about wax it turns me to jelly so quickly, instant submission.
Anyway I've been doing a few swaps lately and discovered wax melts, now I'm in heaven burning wax all day long.
but even better still I started making my own tea lights and melts today bought some wax online the other day to start to play with it but I must remember not to keep dipping my fingers in the melting wax though however nice it feels. Soy wax which is what I'm using has a lower melting temperature than paraffin.
I'm addicted to wax
My home smells all Christmasy now,

Must remember to chain her to the bench first before we start to play. Though it does smell rather wonderfully across the whole house, as you smell different fragrances. My favourite is 'monkey farts' it has a rare tropical island smell and very pleasant despite the name. When the least they could do to you was everything, then the most they could do to you suddenly held no terror.

I LOVE wax too. And Purple_Raven can't get enough of it when we play - and we do like to play. (she's drooling even now at the thought of it) I used to make candles when I lived in America as a hobby, and have just taken it up again over here. In fact, I made Raven a candle for her birthday with red hearts in it. I was casually thinking about developing a line of candles for those of us who like to burn them for other reasons than light or prettiness. I was thinking of making candles with various melting temperatures, and diameters which creates different drip rates etc, and then selling them to other BDSM'ers. Thought it might be fun. Although I haven't tried using soy wax before, will have to give it a go. Wish the kids weren't home tonight, tis a shame to not be able to drip wax on Raven on her birthday - a candle for each year maybe...... (that made her eyes go wide and put a smile on her face) Pen Mistress to the delicious Purple_Raven.

This was my second time at making anything with wax and have now used paraffin and soy, and found soy much easier to work with as a novice. it was a mix of container and pillar wax. www.mai-inspirations.co.uk for secret Santa gift boxes and all other gift boxes please memo me. http://www.informedconsent.co.uk/weblogs/whipkic...

That is totally for safety reasons as your dangerous near naked flames. Come to think of if you're a bloody danger with sugar puffs as well, as yesterday showed. LOL
