My first foray into fetish wear was PVC, but that was mainly because I was only 17 and that was all I could afford! Rubber definitely looks a lot classier, but I will always have a soft spot for my old PVC trousers. :-)

Defending PVC, I love the stuff! It's my old punk sensibilities. Love leather and latex too though.

Sorry, people wearing PVC makes me think of Ann Summers.

I've never seen pvc done well enough for me to go "oooooooooooooooooooo trashy!" It just looks as though you're waiting for your next giro, or however they give you handouts these days.

The things, you say

Rubber, most pvc looks cheap...it also doesn't feel good.

I never said i wasn't cheap ;-)

i guess i just don't like the smell of rubber .....if the OP had said leather i'd be right there votuing for that ..:-)

Wouldn't it be smart to make the sticky stuff on envelopes taste like chocolate?
Why do dogs sniff other dog's bottoms to say hello, why don't they just bark in their face or something?
How do they get the air inside the bubble wrap?

It has to be rubber, black naturally - the best for showing all curves and total flexibility. Definitely my favourite garment is a skintight catsuit.

Rubber - has to be.. just sensually on a totaly different plane. I'm also very fond of my fave leather kilt... but that's another story!

no, I need photographic evidence..... :*

Won't pornographic evidence do?

Today's the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

spot on rubber every time !!

There is simply no comparison. PVC is fine for a 'look' being shiny and sexy and nothing wrong with that at all.

Rubber is something else, it molds to you, it smells divine. You can mold rubber to great pevertible effect. Rubber is tactile, it is a second skin.

There's some truth in all of this, but surely we don't have to choose just one, do we? I love lobster, but there's equally many times I just want a good Macdonalds. Rubber is expensive yes, but feels gorgeous and looks wonderful (er, at least on the right body - apologies to anyone who has to look at ME in it). But it's a pain to get off in a hurry, whereas PVC is quick and simple and still doesn't look half bad. So there's a time and place for both, surely? Depends on the mood. innit? Long live variety!
