Still in a growly mood. Several reasons, none of which are particularly entertaining but I'm thinking of this weblog along the lines of popping a zit. It's grimly satisfying when the pus is splattered all over the mirror rather than throbbing in a yellow headed boil on my forehead. Another lovely metaphor.
Anyway, reasons to growl
1. Lucky's work are annoying her hence they are annoying me. I don't like it when she is stressed. I've poured amaretto down her throat in vast quantities this past evening or two; it appears to be doing the trick. Imbibed an odd one or three myself which sure as hell has taken the edge off.
2. I have a meeting on monday with the biggest bunch of fuckwits that it has been my dubious pleasure to come across in over a decade of doing this job. I am going to have to take such a huge number of deep breaths to stop myself maiming them that I'm going to be in danger of passing out due to hyperventilation.
3. My period is not arriving despite threatening to do so on the hour every hour. And no I am NOT pregnant. It's just being a git because it can.
4. Despite enough evening primrose capsules to have me awash with the stuff, breast soreness is a key factor of pmt. And with bosoms like mine, that's a lot of soreness.
5. Work has gone mental this past few weeks so I haven't got to the gym at all. The one time I did make it, I realised that I hadn't packed my jogging bottoms. The words FUCKING HELL!!!! rang round the changing rooms. I was not 'appy.
6. Fuckwit solicitors haven't done what Lucky asked them to do over a fortnight ago on the house purchase. I feel a maiming coming on.
7. My hair is still purple.
There are reasons to perk up though but I can't be arsed to list them right now. Besides it's time to take Sherbet Face off for one of her regular social engagements. I am now parent cum chauffeur cum private secretary. I'm due to trade my car in next year and have been lusting after a mini. Her Royal Precociousness informed me that she'd much prefer a mercedes ML. Oh really??? Five years old and she could give Jeremy Clarkson a run for his money.
However apart from the many reasons to perk up, of which there are more than a few, Lucky has a photoshoot later and we may well catch up with some of our favourite people. Hope so. That'll definitely put a smile on my face as even a few weeks is way too long.
