Hiya Guys'
Can you circulate this around especially as Xmas is fast approaching - it has been confirmed by Royal Mail. The Trading Standards Office are making people aware of the following scam: A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to contact them on 0906 6611911 (a premium rate number). DO NOT call this number, as this is a mail scam originating from Belize. If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you will already have been billed £15 for the phone call. If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact Royal Mail Fraud on 02072396655 or ICSTIS (the premium rate service regulator) at www.icstis.org.uk

I am sure they did this last year too..... with new reports and everything (haven't got anythig to back it up but it sounds very like it) A rose by any other name has thorns that will still make you bleed.BITE ME |

Fortunately I pretty much know when I am going to get a delivery and if I am not here, then the next door neighbours takes care of it for me. Otherwise if I don't know about it - it's been sent to the wrong address. That phone number pretty much says it all - 09066 - with it being a premium number. If you aren't sure of the numbers check on the net first before anything else. |

Thanks for posting - always good to get a reminder to be careful, but this is an urban legend based on an old scam: http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/pdfs_news/postals...
