I have just cut my lawn for the last time this year because it is too wet now to cut it anymore.

I realised when I was putting the lawnmower away that it is actually the VERY last time I will ever cut that grass because I have to move before the spring. I wondered how many times in the 9 years I have lived here I have cut that grass.

I have always enjoyed doing the garden and keeping it tidy. It is only a small garden but to me it was a little bit of paradise and a place to chill. No matter how stressful a day had been, I used to find relaxation in the evening sitting with a cuppa looking at the few flowers and pots of colour I had and the smell of freshly cut grass and lavender bushes.

It is just grass..... but it was my bit of nature where I could sit and dream.

I don't know where I am moving to yet or if I will even have a garden or space for a couple of pots of flowers and I will really miss it.

Wouldn't it be smart to make the sticky stuff on envelopes taste like chocolate?
Why do dogs sniff other dog's bottoms to say hello, why don't they just bark in their face or something?

maybe a green corner inside, ( lots of huge potted plants wih big leaves, ) if there is no garden out side

i know what you mean about sitting out in an evening with a glass of wine. Smelling the flowers and listening to nature. Bliss! We haven't been able to do it this year but hopefully it'll be sorted by next Summer! you're more than welcome to come, sit and have a glass of wine ( or several!! ) with me if your end up gardenless
