I was given the book Story of O by a very good friend and it's fantastic. I thoroughly recommend it as long as you don't get too wound up by long paragraphs.

it's really not recommended by other people (haven't seen it myself). meant to be all soft focus and very cringe worthy. try downloading it first and if you still like it then buy it, no point wasting your money on an untested product, as it were...

I have to say I thought it was extremely badly written and rather boring.

You can get it in HMV, actually. I was in there with my son and he came across to me, waved the DVD in my face, and said, "This looks like one you and Mum might enjoy!"

Davidius, I think the point that Proccie is making is that in general in this discussion forum, there is a more cohesive question-with-purpose topic to a thread. Yours is rather conversational and less purposeful.

Do you want to know more about The Story of O, for example. Are you hoping for people to compare the two books?

Personally, I don't read books much, because it makes my lips tired and the tip of my index finger gets sore after a while. I'm glad that people still do though.
