This week has been one of the worst I can remember in a very long time, culminating in today, which is going to be the longest and hardest day imaginable.
About a week ago someone so very special to me was informed he needed surgery to discover what has been making him so ill over the last month or so. The surgery will, oh how I pray it will, rule out the most dreaded fear.
We have both spent every spare moment this last week being strong for each other, keeping each others spirits up, remaining positive, keeping all negativity at bay. At least on the surface.
Before the day is over we will know.
