Some time ago I advertised that I required a sub to do some decorating for me.
I had several responses but many were unable to provide the necessary skills (it seems that wallpaper hanging is a rare skill). Luckily, I received an offer from a sub who was willing to undertake the task and a date was set for him to begin.
He turned out to be a genuinely willing worker and a very polite, respectful, friendly person.... how fortunate was I? 
The job turned out to be bigger than we had both thought and it took him 3 visits to complete it. Now, you may think that he made the job last longer in order to gain more play but you'd be wrong.
After his first visit and before his second one he met a young lady and commenced a relationship with her but honoured his promise to return to complete the decorating, on the understanding that there would be no play - as he was no longer single.
The second visit still wasn't enough to finish the task -he knew he would have to come for a third time to do the last bit.
A month or so passed, as we both had other commitments, then I received a memo from him asking me when I wanted him to return, the date was set for today. He's still seeing the same young lady and is very happy about it so again, the only purpose for his visit was to do what he had agreed to do in the beginning.... decorate.
He finally finished the wallpapering this afternoon and has done a fantastic job, I am thrilled to bits.
Not only did he offer his services, admittedly in return for some play initially but, he also completed it knowing that his last two visits would not involve any play at all (this was his decision but one I totally agreed with).
His patience was tested many times with the problems that arose due to my "wonky walls" and he always cleaned up at the end of each visit; bagging rubbish and vacuuming, cleaning the paste bucket and collecting up the tools that he'd brought with him to do the job for me.
That's what I call... a genuine, willing, respectful, honest male submissive!!!
A huge THANK YOU to you - my D-I-H (Do-It-Himself) decorating slave... you're a real treasure.
I wish for you all that you wish for yourself and hope we stay in touch. (Your girlfriend is a very lucky woman.  )

ETA ~ What was his final reward? A tube of Fruit Pastilles!!

A rare find indeed. I could almost envy you - almost! (Wonders if angelskij can hang wallpaper) A sub's trust is a valuable thing

I can pay someone to hang the wallpaper for you if that helps?
The guy mentioned in the OP's weblog sounds like a decent bloke. It's nice to read positive feedback about things that subs have done, often they get criticised and a lot of the time it's justified too. But it's good to see a sub praised when they do something decent without asking for something in return.

I would if I could but... alas, he is no longer my sub  because he's fulfilled what he agreed to do for me.
I think he will be very cautious about what he offers to do in the future - with regard to decorating duties.
I think he found this job a much more challenging one than he had anticipated, which makes his return visits and the completion of it even more amazing!
