Amsterdam and the Clinic Dinner (6)

This past weekend Erotica and I went to Amsterdam. I don't write web logs that often but this weekend was so fun I wanted to pin it down and record it exactly as it was.

We stayed in a hotel that was a stone's throw from the red light district. I knew enough about the red light district to know what to expect but found three revelations,

1: The best thing about hash bars is the food and drink. The affordable spliffs come a close second, but the coffee and breakfasts were brilliant.

2: The cuddly looking black guy standing on the bridge who said hello to me whenever I walked past wasn't just being friendly (as I originally assumed) he was trying to sell me coke.

3: There seems to be an image of a cock on everything: on postcards, towels, t-shirts, plastered all over the front of the sex shops (just incase you were confused as to what a sex shop sold).

The highlight of our visit was the trip to the Clinic Dinner. We attended on the recommendation of our friends Guy and Mistress Emerald; who we were lucky enough to have attending with us.

Erotica looked gorgeous (visual aids coming soon). She was wearing a black and red two-piece rubber outfit which we'd bought earlier that day. Words can't do justice to how stunning she looked.

I was attending as my newfound TV alter ego (which due to Mistresses' skillful makeup abilities made me look rather presentable. Again, visual aids coming soon). We walked through the red light district to get to the dinner, which made for interesting reactions as I was wearing a pink tutu and blonde wig.

To be honest, I preferred the sober reaction from people (“What the Dickens are those people wearing?”) when we left at 7.30pm to the drunkard one when we came back at 1.30pm (“You looook goooooddd…” “Hang on I wanna talk to yaaaa…”).

When we got to the venue the band were playing melodic background music, the buxom maids brought us champagne and the hosts (Absolute Danny and company) introduced themselves.

The food was divine and the cabaret (consisting of the band, a very well choreographed magic show, two sets from the burlesque dancer and finally Mistress Emerald caning a gentleman) was entertaining but the best thing about it was the atmosphere. Everyone in the club made the effort to look the part. I don't normally take any kind of issue with how people dress but in instances when no one is holding back it becomes a lot easier to lose yourself in the evening.

During dinner I asked Erotica if she'd give me one of her prawns in exchange for a sexual favor- I was informed that the economy doesn't move in that direction, but I got a prawn anyway. After dinner we mingled with the other guests. My bum mingled with a few canes and a sharp pair of fingernails.

I can't recommend either the evening or Amsterdam itself nearly enough.

Amsterdam felt like a dream. When I'm asleep, in my head I'll mix opposite and conflicting elements together. In Amsterdam seedy shops sit underneath the walls of intricate architecture, over the picturesque canal a row of naked women bathe in a red glow, the city blends from sophisticated to bizarre.

My God we had fun.

No seriously, and i'm only teasing as i know you know xx - that sounded amazing, thank you for sharing. If only there was something similar to a Decadant Dining experience a little closer to home.
i still remember years ago when the LND Nottingham Munch group tried to get something off the ground - the biggest hurdle was venue, then we got the outer!!
Still, would be wonderful if we could.

It was a massive shame that the Nottingham dinner failed, but nevermind maybe some other day.

we went to amsterdam the week before this but left on the friday , was very depressing to find we had missed it by a few days! sounds like fun though, hopefully next year! xx
only the pain will take away the hurt

Awwww, poor you. It's defintely worth heading over for the weekend it's on. We didn't check out the party on the Saturday night so it'd be interesting to see what people's impressions of it's like.

It's good to know that you enjoyed yourselfs, will have to go back to the 'Dam at some piont next year... will have to find out when one of these events are on as I need a good fetish outting

UK, 3 yrs Been to a few of the 'old' Clinic events which were great fun. Clinic weekends are held every 3 months as far as I know - usually March, June, September and December. Check website for details. I can thoroughly recommend them.
